Encryption here means the record is sealed in your browser before it is uploaded, so the server holds a blob it has no key for. It is not end-to-end: tailoring sends the decrypted record to the server, because the model has to read it. The privacy notice is the formal version, and the terms cover the rest.
Each application keeps a copy of the job posting it was tailored against, for you and nobody else. A company that wants a posting copy removed can write to hello@usefacet.app.
