1. What Facet does
Facet is a free LinkedIn rewriter for laid-off and pivoting tech workers. You paste a headline, resume bullet, or About section, and Facet returns three alternative rewrites in distinct angles. The rewriting is performed by Google’s Gemini model via API.
2. No account
Facet does not require sign-in. There is no account to create, manage, or delete. Usage is anonymous and rate-limited by IP.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to: use Facet to generate content you don’t have the right to produce; submit content that is unlawful, deceptive, or infringes others’ rights; scrape, resell, or automate access to Facet beyond normal individual use; reverse engineer or interfere with the service.
4. AI-generated content
Rewrites are produced by a large language model. They may contain errors, fabrications, or inaccuracies — including bracketed placeholders like [X]% or [N]-person team that you are expected to replace with your real metrics before publishing. You are responsible for reviewing output before using it professionally. Facet does not guarantee that rewrites are factual, accurate, or fit for any particular purpose.
5. Rate limits
Facet is free with a per-IP rate limit. The limit is generous for normal exploratory use and may change. We may block IPs that appear to abuse the service.
6. No warranty
The service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facet disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Facet will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the previous twelve months (which, on the free tier, is zero).
8. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
